This review is based on a complimentary book I received from NetGalley. It took me a long time to get around to reading Molokai, and I deeply regretted putting it off for so long. However, on the positive side, having read it so close to the publication date of this long anticipated follow up, all the details were still very fresh in my mind. And, unlike the first book, very little of it takes place on Moloka’i. So if you haven’t read Moloka’i, I’d suggest putting this review aside.
