Joshua Lincoln Oppenheimer (born September 23, 1974) is an American-born British film director based in Copenhagen, Denmark. He is a director and producer, known for The Act of Killing (2012), The Entire History of the Louisiana Purchase (1998) and The Look of Silence (2014).

Speaking in the film about the many awards and nominations received by The Act of Killing, the director says: "It's wonderful in two ways.
